Scheduled Hours 37.5 Position Summary Supports the management of all aspects of the engineering curriculum while enforcing school and university academic policy. Coordinates engineering course entry and related activities. Manages web and communications for the school registrar team. Ensures the integrity and confidentiality of student and institutional records and FERPA compliance. Job Description Primary Duties & Responsibilities: Manages engineering course entry, including the coordination of new course approvals through McKelvey governance, course tag management, coordination of course eligibility rules, final exam scheduling, and so on. This includes significant coordination with both McKelvey department staff as well as the University Registrars Office (OUR). Manages McKelvey Registrar email box and calendar. Completes tasks related to email requests and responds to all inquiries. Coordinates all scheduled student, faculty, and staff communications sent on behalf of the registrar team. Is the subject matter expert for the no-reply communication system. Acts as the primary point of contact for the McKelvey Marketing and Communications team. Provides course section support for classroom scheduling. Acts as course section manager for interdisciplinary programs and course section support for departments in staffing transition. Manages the McKelvey bulletin, including review and updates for all school level pages as well as review and oversight for all department level pages. Provides support for updates to degree requirements and student plan templates. Completes cyclical review and updates of the McKelvey Registrar web pages, including the McKelvey academic calendar. Primary point of contact for McKelvey course evaluations, including management of the McKelvey course evaluations database and reporting. Assists with events such an orientation, commencement and the schools recognition ceremony. Perform other duties as assigned. Ability to understand, interpret and apply complex regulations, policies and procedures. Effective communication skills with a variety of constituencies. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
