Senior Finance Analyst | University of California San Francisco - Military Veterans

Uses advanced professional concepts and organizational objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways. Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Contacts are both internal and external to the department at all levels. This is a senior level finance analyst position responsible for applying advanced knowledge, skills, abilities and experience to provide fiscal analysis for multiple levels of departmental business, including management of operating budgets, recharge operations, post-award activities, inter-campus grant-making activities and other activities as assigned. This position designs and develops analytical tools for use by program directors and other analysts, and applies technical knowledge and grasp of institutional policies to managing financial processes to yield effective results. The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for this position is $109,300 - $163,900 (Annual Rate).
