INFORMATION SYSTEMS SPECIALIST I - (T222951)
Description
Under limited supervision, the individual supports departmental information systems requirements and objectives. They engage in consultations with users to understand their needs and provide recommendations regarding both software and hardware solutions. This may involve tasks such as installing, removing, fixing, and developing customized software changes to ensure smooth operations. Additionally, they are responsible for providing training to users and creating comprehensive documentation for customer services, software, hardware, and IT processes. Furthermore, they are tasked with troubleshooting issues, as well as installing, maintaining, and repairing departmental computer hardware and peripherals to ensure optimal functionality.

- Troubleshooting skills: Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.

Hourly Pay Range: $18.85 - $30.65
Qualifications
Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field and one (1) year of related experience required. Work experience may substitute for education requirement.
