Job Description:

The Role:

  • The Plant Financial Analyst provides financial reporting and analysis related to Plant Operations including s upply c hain organization .

  • The position provides support to the Plant Controller and to the Plant Manager as well as other key personnel in the Plant .

  • This position is primarily responsible for Oseong plant but engage s with other sites as a member of Plant Financ e in Korea .

  • This position report s to the Korea Plant Controller .

In this role you will:

Financial Analysis and Reporting:

  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis of plant operations, including variance analysis, cost analysis, and budget vs. actual performance.

  • Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports to plant management and corporate stakeholders.

  • Identify and communicate key financial trends, risks, and opportunities.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

  • Assist in the development of annual budgets for the plant, ensuring alignment with overall company objectives .

  • Collaborate with department heads to gather relevant data and inputs for the budgeting process.

  • Monitor budget performance and provide regular updates to plant management.

Cost Control and Optimization:

  • Evaluate manufacturing costs, identify areas for cost reduction, and implement strategies to optimize operational efficiency.

  • Partner with operational teams to analyze production processes and identify opportunities for improvement.

Financial Modeling:

  • Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic decision-making and scenario analysis.

  • Provide insights into potential investments, capital expenditures, and other financial decisions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with various departments, including operations, supply chain, and procurement, to gather relevant financial data and provide financial support.

  • Collaborate with corporate finance teams to ensure consistency in financial reporting and alignment with company policies.

Traits we believe make a strong candidate:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance , Accounting, or related field. Advanced degree or professional certification .

  • 5 years of experience in accounting or financial analysis, preferably in a manufacturing or plant environment.

  • Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.

  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

  • SAP user and e xcellen ce in Microsoft Office .

  • Able to communicate effectively in English .
