At Cornell AgriTech, located in Geneva, NY, we are seeking a part-time Office Coordinator to join our Field Research Unit (FRU) and provide essential support to our dedicated team of researchers. As an Office Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our research facilities, enabling our faculty to deliver high-quality results.
What We Need
A resume and cover letter are required for further consideration.
- High school diploma with one year related experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook calendaring.
- Experience in and/or demonstrated commitment to supporting diversity, equity, access, inclusion, and wellbeing.
- Must be able to compile, analyze, and report on complex data.
- Must have excellent customer service skills and demonstrated ability to communicate and work with a broad range of people.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and prioritization skills are required.
- Able to work quickly and effectively under pressure, use judgment in accomplishing tasks that are urgent or of a sensitive or confidential nature; balance conflicting priorities, interpret policies, and make decisions from a range of choices.
- Demonstrated ability to give and receive feedback, communicate, listen, respect others, set priorities and achieve them, and use time effectively.
- Must be highly motivated and exhibit innovation, good judgment, and reliability in the workplace.
- Work with other staff as a member of a team to resolve issues and achieve common goals.
- Provide and promote service to internal and external customers.

- Associate's degree or higher with up to 3 years of administration experience
- Experience in invoicing and billing and account reconciliation
