Job Overview



The Platform Technical Lead will be responsible for managing and optimizing key platforms such as Adobe Experience Cloud and Azure, ensuring stability, security, and high performance. This role will involve troubleshooting issues, managing configurations, and implementing platform updates. Additionally, the Platform Technical Lead will configure and integrate AI tools to support enhanced functionality and business growth. The successful candidate will bring a strong understanding of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles to drive automation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of our platforms



Key Job Responsibilities





  • Oversee the management of key platforms (Adobe, Azure), ensuring configurations are optimized for stability, performance, and security.


  • Manage platform updates, patches, and security configurations to maintain high availability and protect against vulnerabilities.


  • Develop and enforce best practices for platform management, including documentation, version control, and change management.


  • Implement SRE practices, including automated monitoring, alerting, and incident response, to improve platform reliability.


  • Develop automated solutions for repetitive tasks, performance monitoring, and capacity planning to increase operational efficiency.


  • Establish SLAs, SLOs, and SLIs for platform services and collaborate with relevant teams to meet and exceed reliability targets.


  • Act as the technical lead for troubleshooting complex issues on Adobe and Azure platforms, ensuring timely resolution and root cause analysis.


  • Implement monitoring and logging solutions to proactively identify issues and improve incident response time.


  • Work closely with support teams to develop and maintain a robust incident management framework, reducing downtime and improving service quality.


  • Ensure all platform configurations meet security, data protection, and compliance standards.


  • Collaborate with IT security and compliance teams to implement security policies, conduct audits, and address any security vulnerabilities.


  • Develop risk mitigation strategies and ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements.


  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to platform administrators and other IT team members, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.


  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, developers, and product managers, to ensure platform capabilities meet evolving business needs.


  • Serve as a primary point of contact with vendors, managing relationships to ensure platform updates and support align with our requirements.


  • Configure and integrate AI and machine learning tools on Adobe and Azure platforms to enhance digital capabilities and support business needs.


  • Continuously evaluate emerging AI technologies, tools, and best practices to recommend enhancements to platform capabilities.




Qualifications/Requirements



Educational Background:





  •  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications in Adobe, Azure, or SRE methodologies are preferred.




Experience:





  •  7+ years of experience in platform management, with at least 3 years focused on Azure and Adobe Experience Cloud platforms.


  • Proven experience implementing Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices and managing cloud-based or digital platforms.




Technical Skills:





  • Expertise in Azure cloud services, including monitoring, automation, security, and performance optimization.


  • Strong experience with Adobe Experience Cloud (AEM, Analytics, Target) and understanding of integration and configuration best practices.


  • Knowledge of AI/ML integration on platforms such as Azure, including model deployment and API integrations.


  • Proficiency in scripting and automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Terraform) for platform automation and configuration.




Soft Skills & Competencies:





  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on maintaining high platform performance and availability.


  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of effectively interacting with technical and business teams.


  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment

The Komatsu North America Mining Distribution and Service group is a critical part of our Komatsu global organization.  We, sell, install, service, provide parts and rebuild equipment, as well as provide digital solutions for our customers.  In the United States, we have a presence in 16 states across the US with 30 primary sites.  We have approximately 1,200 employees.
