The Wireless Standards Project Manager role serves as a main keyholder and dedicated resource to MasTec's Wireless client's Policies and Standards offering support to the National Scoping and National Quality teams and all National and market teams. This role is well-versed in the overall lifecycle of projects from Design to construction including scope of work completion. Has comprehensive knowledge of associated internal/external systems and principles to provide support and guidance
Responsibilities
• Provides guidance with project lifecycle process and build standards
• Serves as Subject matter expert adviser
• Contributes technical guidance for proper usage of Drivers and Bolt ons.
• Provides guidance with project lifecycle process and workflow (RFDS management, Scoping Document DE130, Scoping of material, Associated deliverables for Pre/Post Drone Capture/VQA/PQA, PM501)
• Debriefs National RFDS and National A&E teams with weekly policy updates that are published to the VMT.
• Provides guidance with Policies that affect the scoping process (TARP program, Mount Selection process, Mount Analysis, Structural Analysis, Construction Drawings)
• Provides training on policies and Standards
• Supports claims of escalations, performs vetting of claims, works with RFDS and A&E teams on the requirements for the pursuit of escalations.
• Authors policy update summaries for NPMO Broadcast
• Collaborates on NPMO communications to inform of process and policy changes
• Provides Standards support and guidance to All markets and all levels
• Communicates with internal and external customers to provide information, guidance, and expectation of deliverable completions.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of job aids, system access requirements, troubleshooting procedures and knowledge articles.
• Provides weekly reporting of activities to management to provide insights and trends.
• Communicates with MasTec client only as part of and strictly of relevance to the defined scope of work
• Contribute to knowledge management initiatives by sharing knowledge, best practices and lessons learned.
• Contribute to quality assurance efforts by participating in testing activities as needed.
• Collaborate effectively with team members, project managers, stakeholders, and other teams to ensure smooth operations, project delivery and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
Education and Work Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering
- 2 years related experience and/or training
- Previous experience in a construction or engineering-related field preferred
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- Ability to maintain and support all incidents, service requests and changes related to systems and applications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Knowledge of Project management concepts and the ability to develop and implement automated workflows.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills to convey technical concepts, collaborate with team members and provide clear updates to stakeholders
- Proficient in the analysis of Construction Drawings
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently with minimal supervision
Working Environment:
- When visiting jobsites, the work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions.
- This work environment may involve moderate exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors and/or loud noises.
- Willingness and ability to travel as required for project implementation, training, or client support.
- Supports US hours Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm EST/EDT.
- Performs all functions remotely (Anywhere in the US Mainland or U.S. Territories)
