Due to growth, the BJC retail pharmacy is hiring and additional leadership is needed to support operations and projects. This is a team that allows individuals to have flexibility and expand their knowledge. If you have a Doctorate in Pharmacy, at least 2 years of leadership experience and are interested, apply below.

Preferred Qualifications

Role Purpose

The Regional Retail Pharmacy Manager will be responsible for working with system pharmacy leadership on developing and implementing strategic plans and programs to advance retail pharmacy practice and improve patient care and safety outcomes across the BJC system. Plans and manages the overall clinical, educational, drug use policy and research activities of all BJC retail pharmacy departments. Will provide leadership and collaborate with both internal and external customers, including but not limited to BJC Employee Benefits, BJC I.T., Medical staff, and other Ancillary providers.

 

Responsibilities

  • Establishes and coordinates pharmacy policies and procedures in assigned practice areas.
  • Directs operations and integrates services within the work unit and with other departments to promote desirable patient outcomes for the BJC retail pharmacies.
  • Plans and manages programs and services to improve the safety of the medication management system, including supporting I.T. platforms.
  • Ensures departmental compliance with accreditation and regulatory agency requirements.
  • Manages individual(s) including but not limited to: hires, trains, assigns work, manages & evaluates performance, conducts professional development plans. Ensures that the productivity and actions of that group meet/support the overall operational goals of the department as established by department leadership.
