A System Engineer is needed for one of the world's largest suppliers of aerospace and defense products in the Everett, WA area. This Senior Systems Engineer role involves leading innovative system design, architectural exploration, and technical planning while collaborating across functional teams to develop and integrate cutting-edge solutions.

salary: $60.71 - 82.60 per hour


work hours: 8am to 4pm


education: Bachelors


 


responsibilities:




  • Coordinate seamlessly across functional teams.

  • Develop compliance methods, qualification plans, and functional test procedures.

  • Lead architectural exploration and break down customer specifications.

  • Validate and generate verification criteria and plans.

  • Showcase expertise in technical planning, system integration, verification, and validation.

  • Perform cost and risk analysis, supportability, and effectiveness analysis.

  • Drive total system solutions that exceed expectations.

  • Receive mentorship and guidance from industry leaders.


Skills:





  • Familiarity with ARP-4754, DO-178, and DO-254 standards.

  • Experience coordinating multiple projects while balancing priorities and schedules.

  • Ability to manage time effectively and work independently.

  • Expertise in preparing and presenting technical information to peers, management, and external customers.


Education and Experience:





  • Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with 5 years of relevant experience, or

  • An advanced degree with 2 years of experience.

  • Alternatively, 9 years of relevant experience without a degree.

  • Experience with writing and managing requirements using software like DOORS, Jama, or Cameo.
