Within our HHDDA organization, our Business Insights & Analytics team is at the forefront of this commitment, developing and communicating data-driven and actionable insights across multiple functions to drive impactful customer and market understanding.
Our Business Insights & Analytics team within the Human Health Digital, Data, and Analytics organization is seeking a summer intern to make a significant impact. As the first point of contact for multiple cross-functional teams, you will assist in scoping, designing, and delivering well-defined projects and insights. Your collaboration with various stakeholders across Market Research, Data Strategy, Analytics, Forecasting, Operations, and Strategy, as well as Marketing team colleagues, will be crucial in providing input on launch strategies and insights to meet in-line commercial objectives.
We are seeking enthusiastic and highly motivated intern candidates to join our team who have effective leadership, strong analytical skills, and communication abilities, are team-oriented, and can work in a multi-functional environment.
Learning Opportunities for the prospective intern are:
- Professional Development:
- The intern will gain hands-on experience in analytic storytelling to support marketing strategy (for both launch and in-line products)
- The intern will gain hands-on experience in breaking down complex problem statements into addressable key business questions
- The intern will gain hands-on experience in understanding an Oncology therapeutic area
- The intern will gain hands-on experience in prioritizing work & understanding how to shift focus appropriately onto what matters most
- The intern will gain hands-on experience in managing stakeholders in a professional setting
Contribution to an Innovative Project:
- The intern will contribute to an innovative Market Landscape project with practical, real-world application to current and upcoming indications. The intern will engage in various analytical tasks to understand the competitive landscape, trends in the market, and customer behaviors. This will help provide the intern with a comprehensive overview of the business environment
- As part of the internship, the intern will have the opportunity to map the competitive landscape of the market, identify key players, opportunities, and trends, and provide insightful recommendations to inform strategic decisions. This role will also provide exposure to various cross-functional partners, including marketing, market research, data science, and field and digital teams, enhancing the intern's understanding of the business.
- Some examples of key tasks the intern will be exposed to when working on this project are Industry Research and Trend Analysis, Competitive Analysis, and Customer Segment Mapping
- The intern will have the opportunity to present their final project and findings to a cross-functional audience, a valuable experience that will sharpen their public speaking skills. This will not only demonstrate their ability to make their findings concise but also show their understanding of the business from a high-level perspective, boosting their confidence in their communication abilities
Networking Opportunities:
- The intern will have the opportunity to work with & meet a multitude of cross-functional teams made up of fellow interns, young professionals and industry experts, building a strong network and potential references for their future career
Location: Upper Gwynedd, PA
- Candidates must be available to work full-time, on-site, for 10 - 12 weeks beginning June of 2025
- Preferred hybrid model; 2-3 days per week in office
Education:
- Candidates must be currently enrolled in a full-time BS/BA or MS degree
- Candidates must have completed at least (2) years of studies towards a Bachelor's degree by June 2025

- Effective leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills with an ability to process technical information and translate clearly and concisely to broad audiences
- Innovative thinking with affinity toward experimentation and appropriate risk-taking
- Excellent organizational skills, with ability to work with cross-functional teams and organize/prioritize work efficiently and effectively
- Experience with commercial analytics capabilities including market research, forecasting, data driven advanced analytics
- Ability to enable inter-connected problem solving with an appreciation for market research and data oriented analytical methods while understanding brand strategy and breaking down business questions into specific, tangible hypotheses and requirements to guide analysis
- Understanding of Oncology and/or pharmaceutical health care landscape
Under New York City, Colorado State, Washington State, and California State law, the Company is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this job. Final determinations with respect to salary will take into account a number of factors, which may include, but not be limited to the primary work location and the chosen candidate's relevant skills, experience, and education.
Expected salary range:
$39,600.00 - $105,500.00
