Position Overview:

The Future Talent Program features internships that last up to 12 weeks and will include one or more projects. The opportunities with the Human Health Digital, Data and Analytics (HHDDA) team can provide you with a great opportunity to showcase your skills and see if we are the right company for your career goals.

We are searching for an intern interested in contributing to our in-house forecasting platform as a Business Analyst. Learning opportunities for the prospective intern include:

  • Product Design, Development, and Release: The intern will work alongside the Product Owner(s), Technical Lead, and additional delivery team members to support the orchestration of product design, requirement gathering, technical and functional ticket creation, while ensuring to adhere to the product vision and establishing business value with each feature.
  • Business Intelligence: The intern will work directly with the Digital Solution's Product Owner to understand the ins and outs of the strategic forecasting landscape across Pharmaceutical Business Units- Global Pharma, Oncology, and Vaccines.
  • Technical Acumen: The intern will work alongside a team of knowledgeable software engineers, architects, and modeling experts with experience in analytics, UI/UX development, Python, Database management, use of AWS in an enterprise setting to support their ability to translate business requirements and pain points into technical tickets which will be developed into digital product solutions.
  • Stakeholder Management: The intern will be working directly with the Digital Solutions' stake holders on prioritization of business requests, this will involve negotiation and learning how to calmly guide and navigate challenging discussions that may end in compromise. The Product Owner and other teammates will support and mentor the Intern in this aspect to ensure a healthy learning environment while also delivering on operational excellence for the product.
  • Networking Opportunities: The intern with work with a team of professionals and subject matter experts to help build their network and potential references for their future career, as well as engage with stakeholders across the world.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate on solution design with the product, business, and technical team members.


Required Experience:
  • Candidates must be currently enrolled in a full-time BS/BA or MS degree
  • Must have completed at least (2) years of studies towards a Bachelor's degree by June 2025


Preferred Skills:
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and organization skills
  • Strong critical thinking skills and ability to research solutions independently
  • Understanding of the pharmaceutical landscape
  • Knowledge of strategic forecasting is a plus
  • Familiarity with Scrum tools and team structure is a plus
  • Familiarity with Jira is a plus
  • Familiarity with ETL tools, data modeling, APIs, Python 3.9+ (or other languages), virtual environments (venv), dependency management, Pandas, NumPy, use of IDEs, and CI/CD is a plus but not required
  • Ability to handle multiple high-priority items


Under New York City, Colorado State, Washington State, and California State law, the Company is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this job. Final determinations with respect to salary will take into account a number of factors, which may include, but not be limited to the primary work location and the chosen candidate's relevant skills, experience, and education.

Expected salary range:

$39,600.00-$105,500.00

U.S. Hybrid Work Model
