A funded postdoctoral researcher position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Huaiying Zhang (Lab Page: https://www.bio.cmu.edu/laboratories/zhang/ ) in the Department of Biological Sciences at Carnegie Mellon University (CMU). We study the formation and function of protein/RNA condensates with novel chem-optogenetic tools and other advanced approaches through collaboration across disciplines. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who seeks training in biomolecular condensates in a stimulating interdisciplinary environment. A PhD in a STEM field is required at the time of hiring. Candidates with a background in molecular biology, bioimaging, cell biology, and biophysics are welcome to apply.
