Program Manager - Swartz Center (OVPR) | Carnegie Mellon University - Military Veterans

The Swartz Center for Entrepreneurship, works with its partners to serve the entire CMU community -- departments, colleges, centers and campuses -- to accelerate bringing research innovations and promising ideas to the global marketplace and helping all entrepreneurial students, faculty, staff and alumni tap into the "innovation ecosystem." We are currently seeking a Program Manager to join our team. This is a one-year fixed term role that is responsible for comprehensive program management our program. This role involves significant outreach due to interdisciplinary programs or external university or corporate partnerships/collaborations including resolving complexities with interdisciplinary or out-of-Pittsburgh programs. Core responsibilities include: Collaborates with program director to review and assess program(s), student progress, and operations etc. Provides contributory input for budget development. Cultivates or manages relationships to facilitate or expand opportunities for interdisciplinary programs; external collaborations/partnerships, and education outreach. Plans and implements recruiting fairs; oversee admission process; represents the program to external and internal audiences and cultivate relationships with other schools, universities and/or corporate clients. Ensures programs are run effectively from both day-to-day and planning perspective. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree 3-5 years related work experience A combination of education and relevant experience from which comparable knowledge is demonstrated may be considered. CMU will not sponsor or take over the sponsorship of an employment visa for this opportunity. Carnegie Mellon is not a qualifying employer for the STEM OPT benefit: only the 12-month OPT may be used to work at Carnegie Mellon. Fixed-Term: This position is one-year, fixed term position, expected duration through December 30, 2025.
