Schottenstein Center Conversion Crew - Staff Intermittent | The Ohio State University - Military Veterans

The conversion crew is tasked with setting up all of the Schottenstein Center's events including basketball, hockey, concerts, and a variety of special events. This position pays $75 per shift . It is a physically demanding job that requires you are able to lift 50 pounds at a time. This job allows you to make your own schedule by choosing which shifts you want to work. The flexible scheduling is perfect as a 2nd job. There are opportunities for raises after a year and chances to move into a supervisory/lead role. On average each conversion lasts about 4 hours but can range between 3-6 hours in length . --Most shifts happen during the evening and/or weekends. Function: Sales & Customer Service Sub-function: Event Services Career Band: Technical Career Level: T1 Being a part of the conversion crew requires motivation, teamwork, and above all the ability to multi-task. You must be able to repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds. Experience with common tools and equipment is helpful, but not required. Applicants must be able to work in the evenings and some weekends.
