The candidate will contribute to the leadership team of the Rosamund Stone Zander Translational Neuroscience Center- Clinical Neurophysiology Research Core and provide scientific and managerial support to perform EEG-based studies. This Staff Scientist will be responsible for: Designing and conducting research experiments of moderate to high complexity. Collaborating with the Principal Investigator (PI) to prepare manuscripts. Participating in drafting grant proposals and preparing scientific figures. Providing expertise to complete innovative and original high-impact scientific research. Maintaining a positive and collaborative research environment. In order to qualify, you must have: A minimum of 7 years of original and relevant research experience and a Master's Degree, a PhD is preferred (Neuroscience, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields). Experience working with neuroimaging/neurophysiology techniques such as EEG, event-related potentials (ERP), electromyography (EMG), TMS, eye-tracking, etc. Programming knowledge of Python, R, and Matlab. Advanced knowledge of clinical research, data acquisition and processing, and biomarker development. System troubleshooting, hardware maintenance, and data archival experience. Skilled in biomedical signal processing (linear systems, Fourier analysis, wavelet analysis, de-noising, artifact detection, and removal, etc.) and statistics. Experience in independently leading studies and managing a team of scientists and students.
