Identity and Access Management (IAM) Engineer (APPLICATIONS PROGR 3)
Job Summary
Under the direction of the Identity and Access Management supervisor the IAM Engineer is primarily responsible for IET's Identity, Governance, and Administration (IGA) platform. This position plays a crucial role enhancing and managing the IGA platform ensuring secure and efficient access management to mission critical applications, systems, and entitlements distributed across all campus units.
Responsible for onboarding new applications into the IGA platform, conducting access certification campaigns, and ensuring compliance with University policies and regulatory requirements. This position is also responsible for developing lifecycle management processes and procedures for managing the entire identify lifecycle, including provisioning, authentication, authorization, and de-provisioning.

Department Overview
Enterprise Infrastructure Services (EIS) within Information & Educational Technology (IET) creates, deploys and manages business, academic and infrastructure systems. The Identity and Access Management (IAM) Team of EIS provides development and support for a variety of systems and services including single-sign on, mulfi-factor authentication, privileged access management, identity life cycle management, entitlement management, directory services, account provisioning and has a high campus impact as it supports mission-critical systems and applications used by the entire population of student, faculty, staff, and university affiliates.
The Identity and Access Management (IAM) Engineer position has broad campus impact, functioning as an interface point for complex applications and campus-wide infrastructure solutions.
