Job Description:
The School of Aviation, College of Liberal Arts, Auburn University, Alabama, is seeking qualified candidates for an Assistant Professor, tenure track position in the School of Aviation. This is an academic, non-flight position. The school offers courses of instruction to support an undergraduate degree in Professional Flight and Aviation Management. Auburn University is committed to teaching, research, and outreach. Responsibilities:
(a) Instructing undergraduate students in flight education and aviation management.
(b) Creating and implementing distance education programs in flight education and aviation management.
© Engaging in research, development, and outreach activities related to flight education, aviation management, and related fields.
(d) Supporting and mentoring students to ensure their academic and professional success in aviation.
(e) Building and maintaining strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, including aviation and education-related government agencies, accreditation bodies, and industry organizations.
