Accounts Payable/Receivable Clerk - Military Veterans

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Payable/Receivable Clerk to join our growing team. This role will be responsible for processing a high volume of transactions accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and communication skills, and a proven ability to meet deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable:
Process invoices, including data entry, matching, and coding
Research and resolve invoice discrepancies
Prepare and process vendor payments
Maintain accurate vendor records
Assist with month-end closing procedures
Accounts Receivable:
Process customer invoices and payments
Research and resolve customer billing inquiries
Prepare and post customer credits and adjustments
Monitor accounts receivable aging and identify potential issues
Assist with collections efforts as needed
General Accounting:
Assist with other accounting tasks as assigned
Maintain accurate and organized financial records

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent required
2+ years of experience in Accounts Payable/Receivable
Strong understanding of accounting principles
Excellent data entry and 10-key skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, etc.)
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy
Experience with QuickBooks and CDK software is a plus
