The Grid Technologies Products (GT PR) business unit located in Richland, MS. is seeking an experienced, hard-working Production Order Planner with focus on material availability. As a member of the Operations Planning team the Production Order Planner will be responsible to monitor and verify production material availability for multiple product groups at the Richland factory. This role is encouraged to drive strong performance in the following objectives: Material demand/ supply alignment, and material availability.

How You’ll Make an Impact

Material Availability Checks: Daily monitor and verify the availability of materials required for production. Ensure that inventory levels are sufficient to meet production schedules.
SAP Exception Messages: Manage and resolve SAP exception messages related to material availability. Analyze and address issues promptly to prevent production delays.
Coordination: Collaborate with procurement, warehouse, and production teams to ensure timely delivery and availability of materials. Communicate any potential material shortages or delays to relevant stakeholders.
Reporting: Generate and analyze reports on material availability, inventory levels, and SAP exception messages. Provide insights and recommendations to improve material management processes.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements in material management and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

What You Bring

Bachelor’s Degree is required
3+ years of experience in manufacturing required
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office required
ERP production planning knowledge required; SAP preferred
Experience in manufacturing to order, engineer to order, material forecast, and load/ capacity planning preferred.
Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
