The Alakaina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) has a need for an Asset Management Specialist to support our government customer located in Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES: Overseeing CBC’s assets, including tracking, maintaining, and updating them. This ensures assets are in good condition, used efficiently, and that the organization gets the most value from them. Asset management policies and procedures: Developing and implementing asset management policies and procedures. Asset management reporting: Monitoring and reporting on asset performance and utilization. Asset management compliance: Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Asset management guidance: Providing advice and guidance on asset management issues to other departments. Asset management coordination: Coordinating with other departments to ensure assets are used efficiently and effectively. Asset management security: Implementing and monitoring security measures for communication systems and networks. Asset management training: Training staff on asset management principles, processes, and procedures. Shall coordinate the efforts of all contractor personnel to meet assigned goals. Shall be responsible for adjusting operations and personnel to meet assigned goals. Shall maintain records for accountability and to an audit standard. Shall support excellence in customer service and deliver excellent customer service both to internal and external customer while having the ability to work collaboratively to build professional working relationships with colleagues, coworkers, and customers. Shall identify safety concerns to Supervisor and other required stakeholders. (DOD, ARMY, OSHA, ANSI, other industry identified) Shall assist in maintaining accurate files and provide documentation to Government Lead when requested. Shall provide and assist with required monthly data to Supervisor for a monthly report/tracking matrix of all related matters. Shall make sure that all administrative functions/paperwork is in order relative to receipt documentation, work orders, or internal paperwork are accomplished on time and in the required format. Shall be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe worksite while performing or conducting job duties and be attentive to detail. Shall support the mission, vision, values, and goals of the US ARMY. REQUIRED DEGREE/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: Must have High School Diploma/GED Preferred to have an Associates of Arts Degree Must have an (active) CLASS C Driver’s License or higher. REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: Minimum of (3) Years of Asset Management/Property Management experience Preferred Minimum of (5) Years of Asset Management/Property Management experience PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Primarily Mobile; The work environment occurs primarily in office interiors and building settings. Must be able to lift/carry a minimum of 50 lbs. Will need to walk exterior /interior building sites and evaluate projects; tour warehouses and buildings on post.
