Masters degree in geology, geophysics, earth sciences, meteorology, oceanography or paleontology; OR 2. Masters in geological sciences or geology & geophysics (approved comparable degrees at MiraCosta College); OR 3. Bachelors degree in geology AND a Masters degree in geography, physics, or geochemistry; OR 4. the equivalent. Applicants who do not possess the EXACT degree major(s) required to meet the minimum qualifications must attach an equivalency narrative and supporting documentation at the time of application.
