Material Handling Laborer - Military Veterans

ASO is seeking a Material Handling Laborer to work in Ft. Cavazos, TX.

• Perform physical tasks to transport or store materials or merchandise.
• Duties involve one or more of the following:
  • Manually loading or unloading freight cars, trucks, or other transporting devices.
  • Unpacking, shelving, or placing items in proper storage locations.
  • Transporting goods by hand truck, cart, or wheelbarrow.

• Knowledgeable in U.S. Army logistics procedures.
• Ability to pass Pre-Employment Drug Test and Background Screening.
• High school diploma/equivalent.
• Ability to receive a favorable TIER 1 investigation and obtain/maintain a CAC.

Desired Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in material handling.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift 60 pounds, pushing, pulling, carrying, stooping, bending, squatting, and reaching. 
• Work environment includes periodic overtime, exposure to heat, dust, cold, and inclement weather conditions.

Pay & Benefits:

• Hourly Pay rate: $17.20.
