Material Handling Laborer - Military Veterans

ASO is seeking a Material Handling Laborer to work in Ft. Cavazos, TX.
Responsibilities
- Perform physical tasks to transport or store materials or merchandise.
- Duties involve one or more of the following:
- Manually loading or unloading freight cars, trucks, or other transporting devices.
- Unpacking, shelving, or placing items in proper storage locations.
- Transporting goods by hand truck, cart, or wheelbarrow.
Qualifications
- Knowledgeable in U.S. Army logistics procedures.
- Ability to pass Pre-Employment Drug Test and Background Screening.
- High school diploma/equivalent.
- Ability to receive a favorable TIER 1 investigation and obtain/maintain a CAC.
Desired Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in material handling.
- Valid Driver’s License.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to lift 60 pounds, pushing, pulling, carrying, stooping, bending, squatting, and reaching.
- Work environment includes periodic overtime, exposure to heat, dust, cold, and inclement weather conditions.
