This position is responsible for the monitoring of electronic sources for online submission of application materials. Process applications materials, both paper and electronic, recalculate GPA' s on high school transcripts and enter data from transcripts and test scores. Monitor admissions office email, answering questions submitted and forwarding to specific staff. Other duties as assigned. This is a full-time, 12 month, on-campus position. Responsibilities :
Data entry; process and upload materials to Slate submitted by or electronically through IWU application, Common App, or any other vendors for domestic first year, transfer, and international students; recalculate and manage process for securing all final transcripts; maintain the consolidated records function of Slate; supervise student workers for inquiry card processing; utilize Slate database to pull queries and lists to assist the team with yielding incoming students, oversee calling projects from lists pulled
Administrative responsibilities; provide back-up monitoring of IWU Admit email and international email. communicate directly with applicants, parents, high school counselors and Admissions staff regarding the submission and preparation of applications; assist with contacting students when application materials are missing; provide data entry assistance for office tasks including alumni, faculty, and student correspondence with prospective students; update and maintain high school counselor database; sort incoming and assist with outgoing mail projects; backup for Admissions front desk and main phone line.
Requirements :
High school diploma/GED required; Associates degree preferred
One year related office experience
