The Department of Finance and Business Economics at the Michael G. Foster School of Business, University of Washington in Seattle, WA, invites applications for an Assistant Teaching Professor position to start in Fall quarter 2025. Description of Opportunity University of Washington faculty engage in teaching, research/scholarship and service. The selected candidate will be appointed to the rank of an Assistant Teaching Professor with the possibility of future promotion. This will be a full-time appointment, eligible for benefits starting October 2025 assuming a September 16, 2025, hire date. This position is not tenure-eligible. The initial appointment will be for one-year, with the possibility of renewal for future appointments of three years in length. The appointment will be full-time (100% FTE) for a 9-month term. The monthly pay will be between $10,000 and $14,000 per month depending on previous experience and qualifications. The projected teaching assignment will be nine courses in finance and/or business economics across the 3-quarter, 9-month academic year. The Michael G. The chosen applicant for this position will evidence success in the classroom teaching at both the undergraduate and master?s degree levels across a wide range of courses including business economics, corporate finance, and/or investments.
