Job Summary
Lead diverse group of engineers in various tasks including:
+ detailed engineering studies
+ development of detailed engineering packages
+ evaluation of new technologies and other activities required to support the continued safe and reliable operation of our power plants.
+ Works closely with the Director - Power Generation Engineering and other station personnel to resolve power plant issues.
+ Provides regular feedback to all levels of Power Generation management including senior levels.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience
(Note: A partial year of related work experience of 6 months or greater will be considered one year towards the qualifications):
The selected candidate for this position will have 10+years of relevant experience. This person must have strong written, verbal, leadership and computer skills. Excellent knowledge of NERC Compliance requirements and Industrial Control System engineering theories and principles along with ability to teach these skills to engineers. Develop and implement system-wide strategic initiatives that have direct impact on business goals and objectives. Develop and implement compliance programs incorporating business needs and limitations. Monitor and coordinate engineering and technical resources group for projects, station support, station outage activities and various corporate programs. Prepare financial justification for corporate and station projects. Interface with site project manager, outage planning group and station leadership to review, scope, schedule, approve and prioritize engineering support for the stations. Coordinate the efforts of contractors. Accountable for all aspects of the department's budget. Provide technical support associated with construction and/or acquisitions of new generating assets. Ability to effectively implement Power Bi and Power Automate to improve efficiency is a plus, including working with database programs such as Microsoft Access.

+ Cyber Security experience
+ IT experience as it relates to power plants
Education Requirements
Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education:
Bachelor's degree
Preferred: Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
Licenses, Certifications, or Quals Description
PE License preferred
