Hitachi Energy is seeking for a Sales Specialist / Application Engineer PQP for its Mount Pleasant, PA location.
Your Responsibilities:
- Influence of Technical Specifications of existing and new customers.
- Development and growth of Pipeline of the Product line the Application Engineer serves
- Acquiring new customers by demonstrating a high quality and high value of the products served.
- Development of technical documents for the market such as White Papers, Technical Comparisons of the products, Quality - Technical Statements, etc.
- Technical capabilities of the Sales Team to the market.
- Supporting Responsibilities: Definition and implementation of the Go to Market Strategies to be defined by the PMM.
- Technical development of the Strategic plan of the PMM.
- Securing Market and Product Fit for new development.
- Technical information on the Marketing material.
- Follow up of opportunities and customers to secure a successful order.
- Participation in IEEE committees for the product line represented.
- Challenges: Deep knowledge of the products and services offered and the market needs.
- Balancing the needs of engineering and marketing to achieve a good technical knowledge and time to work on complex solutions.
- Being a good communicator and trainer with the sales force exercising constant support and making simple the complex technical concepts.
- Documenting appropriately the technical solutions used and the process to identify and achieve them.

Your Background:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or similar. Masters or PHD degree are also desired.
- Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
- 10 - 15 years of experience in Technical and marketing roles specifically linked to the products to be represented.
- Product Marketing and Sales skills and experience are desired
- Strongly focused over problem solving strategies and customer satisfaction.
- Capable of having a structured approach over engineering solutions for customers.
- Intercultural Sensitivity.
- Fluent in English, capable of communicating with customers in a comfortable way and with diplomatic approach.
