As a Senior Advanced Systems Engineer here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in designing and developing advanced systems and solutions. You will work on cutting-edge projects that drive innovation, safety, and efficiency across various industries. Your expertise in systems engineering and technical guidance will be instrumental in shaping the future of technology and industry solutions.





You will report directly to our Systems Engineering Manager and you will work out of our Minnesota location on a hybrid work schedule.





In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact by:





  • Guiding the design and development of advanced systems, including hardware, software, and network component


  • Ensuring that the system design aligns with Honeywell's quality standards and industry best practices


  • Providing technical guidance in identifying and resolving system issues, minimizing downtime, and ensuring systems remain operational


  • Identifying opportunities for process and system improvements, implementing enhancements, and contributing to the optimization of operations

The application period for the job is estimated to be 40 days from the job posting date; however, this may be shortened or extended depending on business needs and the availability of qualified candidates.


The annual base salary range for this position is $118,000 -$147,000 Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidates work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.



YOU MUST HAVE





  • Bachelors degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics


  • 6+ years of experience in systems engineering and engineering management


  • Mastery of knowledge in systems integration, implementation, and troubleshooting with a thorough insight into multiple workstreams

  • Desired Advanced Engineering degrees like EE (Electrical Engineering), ME (Mechanical Engineering) etc. based on job title


  • Experience in guiding complex system integration projects


  • Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging technologies


  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
