The University of Chicago's Department of Radiology is searching for full-time faculty members at any rank with expertise and interest in emergency/trauma imaging. Appointees will have clinical responsibilities that spans all organ systems and modalities including X-ray, CT, ultrasound, and MRI. We especially welcome applicants with emergency radiology training or equivalent experience. As full-time faculty members, the appointeeswill contribute to patient care, medical education, and scholarship, joining a vibrantand distinguished community of faculty colleagues and learners atUChicago Medicine, the Biological Sciences Division, the Pritzker School of Medicine, and the University of Chicago and its affiliates. Other duties will include training and supervision of medical students, residents, and fellows. There are numerous opportunities for collaboration available within the University and with community partners.Academic rank and compensation (including a generous package of fringe benefits) are dependent upon qualifications. The University of Chicago Medical Center is designated as a both a Level 1 Adult and Pediatric Trauma Center and operates a nationally recognized burn unit. The Department of Radiology includes more than 80 full-time faculty members, clinical associates, and postdoctoral researchers. In addition to teaching medical students, residents and fellows, our faculty conductcutting-edge translational and clinical research.
