Business Intake Analyst - Military Veterans

Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP, an international law firm, is actively recruiting for Business Intake Analyst. This role supports the Business Intake function by identifying and resolving conflict of interest and/or client relations issues associated with processing new clients or matters and lateral hires. Manages the collection, analysis, and reporting of information used to assess potential conflicts of interest. Facilitates resolution of certain conflicts independently and in conjunction with Business Intake Lawyers.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. Reviews, analyzes, identifies, and assists in resolving new business conflicts as well as professional and firm risk management issues arising from new business and/or conflicts analysis requests.
2. Identifies information needed about clients, parties and scope of services and manages the collection, supplementation, and verification of information necessary for analyzing and resolving issues pertaining to conflicts. Partners with attorneys and staff in gathering data sufficient to resolve client identity and conflicts issues identified.
3. Designs and performs conflicts database queries and other corporate research to support identification and analysis of potential conflicts of interest. Communicates research results to attorneys and consults with Business Intake Lawyers.
4. Manages all aspects of incoming service requests from firm lawyers and professional assistants as well as firm administrative staff. Collaborates with Business Intake Lawyers and other team members to ensure client service expectations are met.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. College degree preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of job related experience required, preferably in a law firm, professional services, or other client relationship-based organization. Knowledge of Microsoft Office required.
Other Minimum Qualifications: Travel may be required. Availability and willingness to work hours as needed to meet critical deadlines. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications. Strong commitment to client service excellence and teamwork. Must possess the highest standards of ethical conduct and professionalism. Must act as catalyst for change, drive and own results. Creative and innovative. Excellent communication skills (oral, written and listening) and ability to collaborate effectively with diverse group of professionals. Sound judgment and flexibility. Visual acuity needed to process and read extensive written communications. Ability to receive and convey detailed information through oral communication.
