Job Description:
The College Credit Plus ( CCP ) Program Manager plays a critical role in the daily operations of the CCP program. This position is responsible for assisting Ashland campus and online students with course selection and registration, application processing, and event coordination, ensuring a seamless and enriching experience for students, families, and university partners. The Program Manager collaborates with multiple university departments to deliver high-quality support and services that align with the program's goals.
Strategic Planning and Program Development
- Lead efforts to enhance student matriculation and engagement within the CCP program, including the development and delivery of the Core Course Evaluation Letters sent to all CCP senior students each fall.
- Design, execute, and evaluate annual surveys related to affinity and matriculation outcomes.
- Identify and propose opportunities to expand CCP course offerings to the CCP Director.
- Strengthen AU's affinity with Ashland Campus and online CCP students.
- Supports growth initiatives for the CCP program at Ashland University.
Student Application, Admission, and Enrollment
- Manage the admissions process for all CCP students, ensuring adherence to policies and timelines.
- Provide support to online and Ashland campus students throughout admission and enrollment.
- Manage the enrollment of self-pay students, which includes homeschool and private school students, as well as those who exceed the yearly credit hour limit.
Advising and Student Support
- Offer course selection and registration assistance to online and face-to-face CCP students.
- Conduct academic plan reviews, process registration requests, and oversee course enrollment via Self-Service.
- Assist students with course planning that aligns with CCP eligibility guidelines and their academic interests.
- Address academic, attendance, and other concerns flagged in tracking systems like SOAR.
- Guide students on their required steps for participation, such as account setup and textbook acquisition.
- Identify students on probation or dismissal status, ensuring timely communication and intervention by the CCP Director.
- Distribute annual program-related communications, such as matriculation letters.
- Plan and execute summer orientation events for CCP students.
Event Planning and Coordination
- Represent AU at high school information sessions, recruitment events, and application days.
- Plan and execute one major CCP event each semester, managing logistics such as communication, venue arrangements, presenter scheduling, and catering.
Administrative and Operational Support
- Respond to inquiries via the CCP email inbox promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with the program director to develop and maintain CCP marketing materials.
- Manage digital communications for CCP, including text messaging, social media, and other platforms.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited university
- Strong writing, interpersonal, and public speaking skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Ability to communicate and connect with a wide variety of stakeholders, both on and off campus.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed, especially during the fall and spring months
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Ability to maintain accurate records with strong attention to detail
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
