Job Description Exciting Opportunity at MSK: Assistant/Associate Attending Surgeon on the Hepatopancreatobiliary Service Join MSK as an Assistant/Associate Attending Surgeon on the Hepatopancreatobiliary Service in the Department of Surgery. You will have the opportunity to contribute to cancer treatment and research in a collaborative environment.The Department of Surgery comprises more than 100 world-class surgeons dedicated to providing our patients with innovative cancer care in our sophisticated facilities, among the most advanced in the world. Over the years, our faculty have pioneered new techniques such as laparoscopic surgery for the treatment of many cancers. Role Overview: The Assistant/Associate Attending Surgeon is a crucial member of the HPB Service team. They work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide outstanding care for patients with liver, biliary, and pancreatic diseases. The role includes inpatient and outpatient responsibilities, performing HPB-related abdominal operations, and contributing to education and research. Key Qualifications: Board-certified or board-eligible in HPB surgery or surgical oncology Extensive training in an ACGME-accredited fellowship in HPB surgery or surgical oncology Proven experience in laparoscopic and/or robot-assisted minimally invasive HPB surgery Defined clinical, translational, or basic research interest in HPB malignancies Core Skills: Outstanding surgical skills with a focus on HPB procedures Ability to successfully implement innovative treatment approaches Capacity to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team Strong dedication to educating residents and fellows Proven track record in conducting impactful scientific research Salary Range : $375,000 - $645,000 (depending on level) Application Instructions: Please email a CV, a letter of interest, and contact information for three references to: Mindy Sovel Associate Director, Hospital Operations sovelm@mskcc.org Helpful Links : MSK Compensation Philosophy Review Our Greats Benefits Offerings Closing MSK is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer committed to diversity and inclusion in all aspects of recruiting and employment.
