Position Overview:
We are seeking a Facility Coordinator to join our Client Services team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing daily operations, ensuring the functionality, safety, and compliance of assigned facilities, and supporting various business units. This role requires technical knowledge of mechanical systems, strong organizational and communication skills.
The shift runs from 8AM to 5PM, Monday to Friday, with weekly pay every Friday. This is a temporary-to-permanent role, with the potential to be considered for a full-time position based on performance and business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Facility Management Support:
Manage daily operations, including work orders, contractor performance monitoring, and facility issue resolution.
Conduct weekly inspections and supervise projects, office moves, and company events.
Collaborate with business units to maintain a functional and satisfactory work environment.
Infrastructure Support:
Conduct facility tours and inspections to identify issues and ensure mechanical systems are operational.
Perform light maintenance tasks such as bulb replacements, plumbing repairs, painting, and carpet fixes.
Manage recycling programs, shredding operations, and key systems.
Safety and Environmental Compliance:
Perform regular safety inspections and assist with fire tests and emergency responses.
Maintain recycling programs and support environmental policies and audits.
Vendor Management:
Coordinate and monitor vendor schedules, service quality, and adherence to policies.
Validate work order completions and approve invoices for payment.
Inventory Tracking:
Track and order consumables (e.g., coffee, office supplies, janitorial items) and maintain furniture and assets.
Conduct physical asset inventories and assist with asset disposition.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent (required); Trade School preferred.
2-3 years of experience in building services or facility management.
Valid Driver’s License.
Technical understanding of mechanical systems.
Proficiency in PC use and basic office tasks (e.g., creating reports, tracking invoices).
Strong organizational and communication skills.
This role involves independent problem-solving, interaction with various stakeholders, and oversight of facility operations to ensure a safe, functional, and efficient workplace.
