DC Network Maintenance Manager - Military Veterans

Lead, develop, and manage the corporate maintenance support group in the provision of technical assistance to division maintenance teammates and various levels of corporate leadership. Own and manage various processes initiated by the corporate maintenance group and utilized by field maintenance teams.

This position will require the candidate to report and work from the office five days a week. Therefore, interested candidates should be within a 50-minute radius from Temple, TX.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS / PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
  • Coach, develop, and define objectives for teammates, conduct performance reviews, and aid in the prioritization of direct reports.
  • Work cross-functionally with the DC Network & Facilities (DCNF) Engineering Team on maintenance-related projects.
  • Act as liaison between Corporate Legal and distribution center (DC) leadership to identify scope of work and contractual needs for third party maintenance services.
  • Assist with the development of equipment maintenance and repair standards and specifications for new and existing equipment in the DCs.
  • Oversee corporate-driven maintenance campaigns related to key performance initiatives for retail and restaurant divisions.
  • Identify improvements to processes, procedures, and standards regarding equipment maintenance and workflow management necessary to increase efficiency of division maintenance teams.
  • Review computerized maintenance management system (CMMS), such as Maintenance Care or Maximo, for data accuracy and data entry, and advise management of the performance of division maintenance teams.
  • Coordinate levels of support regarding CMMS needs within the division.
  • Work with third party vendor(s) to configure settings, back-end development, and creation of statistical reports for internal and external usage within the CMMS.
  • Engage directly with third party vendors servicing corporate- and field-driven maintenance initiatives.
  • Evaluate technological advances within the CMMS platform and other technology that may be introduced to the DCNF network (i.e., Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, etc.).
  • Within the CMMS, identify frequencies on common equipment and monitor compliance with PM schedules (i.e. equipment time studies, collection of equipment reliability stats, etc.).
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, technology, or a related field.
  • Five or more years of experience in equipment life cycle management, preventative maintenance, or related experience. Managerial experience preferred.
  • Proficient knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems, such as Maximo or others.
  • Basic knowledge of conveyor repair.
  • Basic knowledge SQL and Linux.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
  • Onsite - Office environment.
  • Occasional travel (10-20%).
