Academic Trauma and Acute Care Surgeon Position Overview: The salary range for this position is Assistant Professor $348,490- $453,597, Associate Professor $417,271- $532,788 and Full Professor $440,478- $586,896. This position includes membership in the [Health Sciences Compensation Plan] hyperlinked to https://aadocs.ucdavis.edu/policies/apm/apm-670.pdf The University of California, Davis Department of Surgery Academic Trauma and Acute Care Surgeon The Department of Surgery at the University of California, Davis Health located in Sacramento, California, seeks to recruit a full-time Academic Trauma Surgeon at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Full Professor level in the Health Science Clinical Professor, Clinical X or In-Residence series; dependent upon experience and qualification. Expectations of a Clinical X and In-Residence series are to engage in teaching, research, service and clinical work, while expectations of faculty in the HSCP series are primarily clinical and include teaching, service and scholarly and/or creative activities. The selected candidate will contribute to the growth of the educational, research and clinical missions of the surgical programs at UC Davis Health. Expected responsibilities include teaching; both inpatient and outpatient, clinical care, resident and fellow teaching, research related to trauma services and participation in the trauma, acute care surgery and surgical critical care team conferences.
