As an Advanced Systems Engineer here at Honeywell, you will be accountable for guiding the design, development, and implementation of advanced systems and solutions. You will work on cutting-edge projects that drive innovation, safety, and efficiency across various industries. Your expertise in systems engineering, project management, and technical guidance will be instrumental in shaping the future of technology and industry solutions.





You will report directly to our Systems Engineering Manager and you'll work out of our Clearwater, Florida location on a hybrid work schedule.





In this role, you will impact the reliability and efficiency of our software systems, which are vital to our operations.

Key Responsibilities





  • Guide the design and development of advanced systems


  • Work with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and maintain crucial software infrastructure


  • Champion complex software issue resolution in the systems programming domain


  • Create and maintain comprehensive software documentation for knowledge transfer and standardization


  • Drive software code optimization for peak system performance

Must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements.



YOU MUST HAVE





  • Bachelors degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics


  • 6+ years of experience in systems engineering and project guidance


  • Comprehensive knowledge in systems integration, implementation, and troubleshooting


  • Excellent communication and people-oriented skills


  • Ability to work under minimal supervision
