In this role, you'll be the driving force behind coordinating venue reservations for meetings, events, and programs hosted by student organizations, university departments, and external groups. You'll also handle the collection and processing of reservations revenue.

Essential Functions
- Coordinates, schedules, and assists with campus and community events designed to support students, faculty, and staff through the programming experience.
- Utilizes and assists in maintaining the Reservation system calendar, Mazevo Event software, and Social Tables diagram software.
- Advises clients on correct protocol and audio/visual design and event set-up for events.
- May collaborate with campus partners in the planning and execution of events in various spaces in campus buildings, outdoor venues, and auxiliary spaces.
- Advises clients on general university policies, guidelines, and procedures for advertising, open air forums, campus events, and information.
- Reviews and verifies documentation for completeness and compliance with policies and procedures.
- Processes invoices, billing, payments, financial vouchers for the Student Center Reservations and Event Operations department and related facilities, equipment and services.

- High school diploma or equivalent plus 4 years of experience OR
- Associate's degree plus 2 years of experience OR
- Bachelor's degree

- High school diploma or equivalent plus 6 years of experience OR
- Associate's degree plus 4 years of experience OR

Scope of Experience: Experience in administrative support services.

Auburn University was established in 1856 as the East Alabama Male College, 20 years after the city of Auburn's founding. In 1872, under the Morrill Act, the school became the first land-grant college in the South and was renamed the Agricultural and Mechanical College of Alabama. In 1899 the name again was changed, to the Alabama Polytechnic Institute. Finally, in 1960 the name of the school was changed to Auburn University, a title more in keeping with its location, and expressing the varied academic programs and larger curriculum of a major university.
Today, Auburn is one of the few universities to carry the torch as a land, sea and space grant university. Our fall 2014 semester enrollment was 25,912. Our students can choose from more than 140 degree options in 13 schools and colleges at the undergraduate, graduate and professional levels.
