FORKLIFT OP L4 - DAY SAWMILL STACKER OUTFEED- OLA, AR - Military Veterans

The purpose of this position is to remove lumber from the green stacker and stack accordingly in the green yard, transfer reman boards to the re-entry deck, and must maintain the housekeeping in the green yard.
The hourly rate of pay for this position is $23.97.
Key Activities:
Must be able to obtain a forklift license.
Must complete the daily checklist on equipment according to the Mobile Equipment procedures.
Must be able to safely operate a forklift.
Must keep lumber cleared off the sawmill stacker outfeed chains in order to keep production flowing.
Haul lumber safely to green yard storage and stack accordingly.
Ensure cross outs are placed correctly on packages prior to transferring to green yard.
Keep stacker stocked with stacking sticks.
Assist with mis-sorts from stacker.
Empty waste hoppers when time permits.
- Will be responsible for running other equipment such as Stacker, Stacker Infeed, Sorter, and Debarker as well as assisting the Outfeed maintain a steady production flow.
Requirements:
High school diploma or G.E.D. required
Forklift license required
Ability to get along well with others
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
Ability to make decisions quickly
This position is for day shift and production hours are from 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday-Friday, with occasional Saturdays.
