JOB SUMMARY

Functions as the most senior engineer for a complex array of Collaboration Products. An ideal candidate will exhibit strong communications skills, be self-motivated, adaptable, and dependable. This individual will play a critical role in engineering and supporting Technology Workplace Products End User Technology services as a technical resource for all supported Collaboration Products such as SharePoint, One Drive, Teams, Box, Zoom. They will contribute to resolving complex issues and providing input for decisions on more complex, non-routine service requests with limited to moderate risk. This role will be called upon to make contributions into research, analysis, design, creation, and implementation of systems to meet current and future user and security requirements. This individual will collaborate on multiple projects to ensure successful completion.

Required Education & Experience:

  • Undergraduate degree in an engineering or computer science discipline and/or equivalent experience/certification
  • 7+ years progressive experience in information technology engineering
  • 3+ years engineering experience with Microsoft 365 Collaboration Products that developed expertise in:
    online services, configurations, and licensing
    Collaboration tool administration (e.g. Box, SharePoint, One Drive, Teams)
    File & Folder sharing
    Integrations with Microsoft 365 security tooling, as well as other security tooling such as Splunk, Crowdstrike, etc
  • 3+ years experience in Agile delivery, user-centered design, design thinking, heuristic analysis, and Riskiest Assumption Testing methods.
  • 3+ years experience integrating emerging technology business using both on premise and cloud infrastructure preferably in a large, global business


Other Attributes and Preferred Qualifications/Experience:

  • 3+ years experience with Microsoft Active Directory, Ping Identity and other federated identity providers.
  • Related certifications (Box Certified Professional, Microsoft)
  • Strong attention to detail with an ability to operate effectively across competing priorities
  • Demonstrated ability to perform independently as a member of a team and through cross functional initiatives.
  • Experience in researching emerging technologies and trends, implementation and security standards, and products
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated understanding of implementing and managing security policies and solutions for Collaboration Products such as SharePoint, One Drive, Teams, Box, Zoom, etc.
  • Strong knowledge of identity management via Microsoft Active Directory and Azure AD services.
  • Ability to interact with Information Security teams and recommend best practices for security within all Collaboration Products.
  • Strong understanding of emerging tools, software, applications, and systems within the Collaboration Products ecosystem

Core Work Activities

  • Leads in the evaluation, investigation, and testing of new technologies with other teams
  • Acts as a Technical Subject Matter Expert for Collaboration Products and services
  • Contributes technical knowledge in the identification and reporting on emerging cyber threats and risks to Collaboration Products
  • Coordinates and reports on cyber incidents within Collaboration Products, as required, and make recommendations for mitigation and remediation.
  • Provides input to the overall architecture, operational governance model of Collaboration Products
  • Supports analysis of the current environment to detect critical deficiencies and recommends solutions for improvement within the supported Collaboration Products.
  • Consults with project teams to identify when it is necessary to modify services to accommodate project needs related to Collaboration Products.
  • Actively partners with cyber and compliance leadership to ensure that the Collaboration Products are compliant with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Develops and executes delivery plans in close coordination with technical and non-technical stakeholders to achieve desired timelines and roadmaps for Collaboration Products and services.
  • Provides engineering, oversight, governance, and tactical direction related to the cloud collaboration products and services
  • Provides input to the overall architecture, operational governance model for Collaboration Products and its related services
  • Researches, designs, and tests components that are standards based, high performing, highly available, and secure in delivering the required business functionality within Collaboration Products and services.
  • Educates internal and external users on the collaboration technologies to continually improve the knowledge and skill-base of the organization.
  • Participates in the evaluation and selection of Collaboration products and services.
  • Utilizes capacity modeling to ensure Collaboration systems have the necessary space and resources to perform meet business strategy and goals.
  • Utilizes capability modeling to align collaboration systems strategy and planning with overall business strategy and goals.
  • Develop test plans, implementation plans, and project timelines for assigned projects within the Collaboration Products space.
  • Leads Peer Design Reviews and Design Thinking sessions related to Collaboration Products.
  • Provide security program support that includes strategy, policy, integration, and standards support within Collaborative Tooling Space.
  • Participate in security incident response activities, as needed for Collaboration Products

  • Generates and provides accurate and timely results in the form of reports, presentations, etc.
  • Plans, develops, implements, and evaluates the quality of operations.

  • Demonstrates an understanding of business priorities.

  • Provides recommendations to improve the effectiveness of processes and programs.
  • Demonstrates advanced knowledge of job-relevant issues, products, systems, and processes.
  • Demonstrates advanced knowledge of function-specific procedures.
  • Applies knowledge/judgment to achieve business goals.
  • Foresees, identifies, and resolves problems.
  • Keeps up-to-date technically and applies new knowledge to job.
  • Performs other reasonable duties as required for this position.

The salary range for this position is $128,200 to $171,600 annually. In addition to the annual salary, the position will be eligible to receive an annual bonus.

Washington Applicants Only: Employees will accrue 0.04616 PTO balance for every hour worked and eligible to receive minimum of 7 holidays annually.
