The Administrative Associate supports the office and administrative functions for TRIO's Student Support Services. This is a federally - funded outreach program that supports the UNL community through academic, social and financial support for first-generation college students.
In this role you will:
- Provide excellent customer service via phone, email and in person to all students, faculty, staff and community members who contact or visit the TRIO offices.
- Support the Student Support Services student recruitment process by processing applications, scheduling interviews, data entry of all student profiles and ensuring that student files are up today.
- Lead a team of student workers including; hiring, training, scheduling and timekeeping management
- Serve as the point person for Student Support Services departmental purchasing, submit and reconcile all receipts per policies.
- Gather assessment data, files, and financial information for the annual report and assist with the finalization of the annual report per federal grant requirements.

Minimum Required Qualifications:
Associate's or equivalent education/experience. Minimum 1 year of demonstrated administrative and/or office management experience. Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communications skills necessary. Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with a diverse team of professionals. Ability to provide outstanding customer service. Prior experience and working knowledge of Microsoft products.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in business, psychology, sociology, education or related field. Experience working within a University setting as well as with TRIO . Prior experience working with grants is preferred.
Posted Salary: $18.269/hr minimum
