Job Overview

Responsible for local quality employee onboarding, development training and quality training. Build and facilitate the execution of training programs for various roles, including technical skills, and employee development and support of Quality Management System. Provide local quality onboarding training to transfers and newly hired employees. Oversee and participate in the development, creation, and delivery of training sessions, and workshops. Organize and schedule the Leadership Training Program and Lunch & Learn Programs. Ensure compliance to training procedures regarding the Quality Management System. Originate Change Orders for procedures within Training Department authority.

Job Responsibilities and Essential Duties

  • Ensure all training programs meet industry regulations and safety standards. Own the end-to-end local quality orientation and onboarding process that is engaging, mission-centric and effective; a process that resonates with all new Getinge and transferring employees.
  • Partner with subject matter experts across the organization for training content.
  • Provides individual coaching and training within the company on the topic of training and development best practices.
  • Develop and maintain the training curriculum and calendar. Assess the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, evaluations, and performance metrics. Report and track training progress.
  • In coordination with the Head of Quality work with department managers to improve the overall training programs. Translating organizational requirements into the design and development of technical, managerial, and process learning options.
  • Contribute to the cultural of learning and support a growth mindset, by staying up-to-date with the latest trends in the training industry to provide innovative learning.
  • Assist in government agency and other external audits as well as internal audits.
  • Work closely with various levels within management to ensure training is relevant and effectively addresses operational needs. Conduct periodic training system assessments to ensure that appropriate training is being assigned and completed to meet regulatory and corporate requirements.
  • Responsible for the oversight and control of training records.
  • Coordinate and conduct the "Train the Trainer" training to develop trainers for effective administration of Manufacturing, Quality Control and Warehouse training curriculum.
  • Apply sound adult learning and instructional design principles and methodologies. Good Documentation Practices (GDP) training and training for mandatory procedures, as assigned.
  • Owner of the software training database.
  • Analyze training evaluations of Manufacturing, Quality Control and Warehouse Trainers to determine areas for improvement.
  • Establish and support a work environment of continuous improvement that supports the Quality Policy, Quality System, and appropriate regulations.
  • Assist with the maintenance of the Trainings Matrix for all departments.
  • Maintains KPIs aligned to training and provides progress updates to management.
  • Assist in meeting departmental goals and special projects as needed.
  • Review and approve Change Orders and provide advisement of training requirements with originators.
  • Originate Change Orders for procedures managed by Training Dept.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor Degree (BA or BS) in Education and/or training certificate preferred, or at least seven years of training experience as a trainer in a variety of environments.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organization skills and a high level of attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of curriculum design (classroom).
  • Ability to adapt style and training, depending on business needs.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • The ability to break down complex instructions/concepts to a level that is understood by all levels of experience and education.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Salary Range: $90 - 120K Depending on Experience
