Senior Treasury Manager, Capital Markets and Investments - Military Veterans

RESPONSIBILITIES

Howmet Aerospace is looking for a Senior Treasury Manager, Capital Markets and Investments to join our Global Finance team at our headquarters in Pittsburgh, PA. This position will reside within the Corporate Treasury organization reporting to the Assoc. Vice President, Treasury and is primarily responsible for managing capital markets workstreams, structured finance programs and monitoring of company investment portfolios.

Major Activities and Key Challenges:

  • Lead workstreams for company debt initiatives for both short-term and long-term company funding requirements
    • Key programs include multi-currency term loan arrangements, revolving credit facilities, commercial paper program, and long-term public bond issuances
    • Workstreams include but are not limited to preparation and planning, execution, reporting, analysis, and compliance
  • Manage execution of capital deployment transactions including share repurchase programs and debt retirement opportunities; maintain processes to report, analyze and measure performance and compliance
  • Structure and manage corporate finance programs such as receivables securitizations, lease financing transactions and working capital initiatives of Howmet
  • Regularly monitor and report on company investment portfolios, including pensions, insurance captive and Howmet Aerospace Foundation to ensure compliance with investment policy objectives; recommend actions or changes as necessary to improve results
  • Maintain a strong working knowledge of financial markets and banking products and services
  • Support and/or lead various global treasury projects, including partnering with Howmet's business segments and other corporate functions to drive results
  • Support the coordination, analysis, and reporting of results for management reporting initiatives
  • Maintain processes to evaluate and manage interest rate, commodity and other risks through the planning and execution of derivative or other transactions and continually measure performance against stated risk objectives
  • Monitor and model credit rating agency metrics through evaluation of actual and forecasted company results


Essential Knowledge and Skills:
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Collaborative mindset and significant experience working within a high performing team to solve problems and achieve objectives
  • Robust knowledge of Capital Markets, Investments, Derivatives and Revolving Credit Agreements
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, financial compliance and corporate finance
  • Significant experience with financial modeling and turning complex data into actionable and clear recommendations to improve results
  • Ability to lead broad project teams by partnering with other corporate stakeholders (including Tax, Legal, and Accounting)
  • Significant experience negotiating with financial counterparties to achieve desired results
  • Working knowledge of corporate banking products and services, treasury technology systems and operational treasury processes in a global company


QUALIFICATIONS

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, math, accounting or related field from an accredited institution
  • Minimum 4 (four) years of experience in treasury, capital markets, corporate finance or investment banking
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • CFA designation, CTP, or CPA designation
Base salary range: $125 - 150k/year approximation (Actual compensation is subject to variation due to factors such as education, experience, skillset, and/or location).
