Expected salary range of $135,000 to $150,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
Manage and monitor the work activities of the planning group, Component Optimization Group and FIN Team to ensure a productive workforce that supports all divisional, departmental, site and corporate goals while in accordance with all company policies and local, state and federal regulations.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Participate in all aspects of work control, coordination and scheduling, including online, load reductions, forced outages and refuel outages, to ensure that maintenance work is properly assigned, planned and ready to work. Manage and monitor departmental resources and expenditures for all assigned work, including refuel outages, within the approved budget.
- Effectively manage assigned staff (e.g. Hiring, Development, Compensation, Performance Evaluation, assist in ensuring Training Certification compliance, etc.) to ensure that all divisional activities are performed safely and effectively by trained workers in accordance with plant procedures, NRC regulations, and the site schedule.
- Effectively manage the development of efficient and complete work packages for all maintenance activities that require planning to execute on-line, forced outage, refuel outage and unplanned power reduction work. This includes administration and oversight of both internal and external planning personnel, including Maintenance contract personnel.
- Responsible for managing the overall development, implementation and monitoring of the component optimization group which includes utilizing preventative, predictive and proactive maintenance technologies to maximize equipment reliability, plant performance and departmental work planning efficiency.
- Effectively manage the FIN team to improve equipment reliability and minimize impact to station scheduled activities.
- Effectively manage the CMO Group to improve equipment reliability and minimize impact to station scheduled activities(for single units).
- Participates in all aspects of Maintenance Department management to support safe and efficient operation of the plant, including the development, implementation and performance monitoring of all corporate, site and divisional business goals and objectives.
- Effectively communicate significant plant and personnel issues to Maintenance Director and all applicable levels of station management. Fostering open communications and collaboration between all organizations internal and external to the plant including INPO and regulatory agencies.
- Interface with on-site Engineering to support development of plant modifications work packages.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Individual must possess a 4 year technical degree and have 10 years of utility or related industry experience Or an Associates degree with ten years utility or related industry experience with 5 at the supervisory level
- Meet ANSI requirements for site Maintenance Manager
