Are you ready to lead in a dynamic and fast-paced manufacturing environment? Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a Manufacturing Associate Manager to oversee multiple functional areas, including machining, assembly, tool and die, and packaging operations, at our Johnstown, PA facility. This role offers the chance to shape production processes, manage a talented team, and drive operational excellence.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Team Leadership:
• Oversee multiple functional areas of manufacturing, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
• Recruit, select, and train subordinate employees, fostering a skilled and motivated workforce.
• Conduct performance assessments, manage work assignments, and oversee salary actions.
Operations Management:
• Direct machining, assembly, tool and die, and packaging activities to meet production goals.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency, quality, and safety across all operations.
• Ensure all manufacturing processes comply with company policies, standards, and industry regulations.
Continuous Improvement:
• Identify and implement process improvements to reduce costs, increase productivity, and enhance quality.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure consistent progress toward operational goals.
Employee Engagement:
• Recognize outstanding employee contributions and address disciplinary actions as necessary.
• Promote a collaborative and inclusive workplace culture.

• Experience with Aerospace manufacturing processes &/or requirements.
• Experience developing cost, schedule, &/or quality budgets.
• Experience leading in a manufacturing environment.
Desired Skills:
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
• Exceptional people skills.
• Previous Lockheed Martin leadership experience.
• Minimum 5 years leadership experience.
• Bachelor of Science in Aerospace related field.
• Experience directing manufacturing of various product types.
• Coordination of multifunction responsibilities in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of legacy LM Aeronautics support systems
• Understanding of working with represented employees.
• Appropriate degree from an accredited college or equivalent experience/combined education, with professional experience and specialized training commensurate with assignment.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
