Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Procurement Specialist to join our team!

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Develop and implement global procurement strategies that enable procurement acceleration.
  •  Identify and evaluate potential suppliers worldwide.
  • Assist internal business and quality teams with material and process selection for purchases, locating and selecting suppliers for purchases per category strategies.
  • Develop and implement strategic plan(s) for functional area(s) managed.
  • Ensure efficient and compliant processes and procedures are developed for legal commercial document collected and adhered to for sourcing and supplier management.
  • Develop and improve major business processes such as business continuity and supplier partnership to deliver annual improvements in total cost, quality and service, and support sites as needed
  • Develop an expertise in the business needs and capabilities for major categories and key business processes.
  • Champion annual productivity improvements by leading internal & joint supplier/teams pursuing cost reduction opportunities in alignment with the sourcing strategy.
  • Communicate and develop the Strategic Supplier plan in accordance with the long-term business plan and business need
  • Tracking supplier performance and ongoing evaluations as well as responsible for Tracking expired legal commercial documents and follow up with suppliers for commercial document validation.
  • Identify the company's/Project’s material and supply needs.
  •  Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best prices and terms.
  • Manage the overall procurement activities in a project, including, purchasing, expediting, supplier monitor and inspection, contract formation and administration.
  • Review standardized contracts and ensuring their suitability to tender documents.
  • Review the terms and specifications book and evaluation criteria.
  • Sign contracts with suppliers and requesting departments according to the delegation of Authority.
  • Ensure that all procedures and policies related to contract and procurement management are implemented.
  •  Negotiate contracts and terms with international suppliers.
  •  Manage supplier relationships and performance.
  •  Ensure compliance with international trade regulations.
  •  Coordinate with logistics and operations teams for timely delivery.
  •  Monitor market trends and adjust procurement strategies accordingly.
  • Conduct a market Price engagement and supply chain enablement/ development
  •  Maintain accurate records of procurement activities.
  • Conduct cost analysis and comparison and drive cost-saving initiatives.
  •  Resolve any issues related to procurement and supplier performance.
  • Ensure quality standards are met for all procured goods and services.
  • Develop and implement the overall procurement procedures and plans. to include close out activities of project procurement and hand over of deliverables to the client at the end of the project.
  •  Develop and maintain a supplier database.
  •  Prepare and present procurement reports to management.
  •  Participate in cross-functional teams to support business objectives.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, accounting, business administration, or equivalent.
  • 8-10 years of procurement department or relevant business experience.
  • Contract Management– Basic.
  • Building Strategic Partnerships– Proficient.
  • Data Collection, Analysis and Reporting – Proficient ( Excellent in Power BI )
  • +5 years of experience in all types of materials and services commodity experience. preferred with the application of legal implications and risk preservation
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Strong decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent English / Arabic written and verbal communication skills. Excellent presentation skills.
  • Experience of working internationally (preference KSA experience).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
