As an Infrastructure Engineer, Sr within PNC's Enterprise Technology Site Reliability organization, you will be based in one of our Technology hub locations (Pittsburgh, PA, Dallas, TX, Phoenix, AZ, Birmingham, AL, or Cleveland, OH). Weekly time in the office is required.

Job Overview: The Infrastructure Engineer Sr. will be responsible for design, implementation, and management of network observability and monitoring solutions across the organization's infrastructure. This includes ensuring high availability, performance, and security of the network systems. The role requires a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of network technologies, observability tools, capable of leading a team to maintain and optimize network operations in both on-premises and cloud environments.
Preferred Skills:
* Extensive experience with Cisco and Arista routers and switches, including configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization.
* Proficiency in cloud networking principles and technologies, with hands-on experience in public, private, or hybrid cloud environments.
* Strong understanding of network monitoring tools and techniques, with the ability to implement comprehensive observability solutions.
* Knowledge of software-defined networking (SDN) and its application in modern network infrastructures.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
Recommended Qualifications:
* Strong experience in network engineering.
* Relevant certifications such as CCNP/CCIE (Cisco Certified Network Professional/Expert), Arista ACE (Arista Certified Engineering), or equivalent.
* Experience with network automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Ansible).
* Familiarity with IT service management (ITSM) and ITIL frameworks.Job Description
