The Department of Pathology at the New York University Grossman School of Medicine is recruiting for a Cardiopulmonary Pathologist at the Assistant/Associate Professor level.

Applicants for the Cardiopulmonary Pathology position should have strong diagnostic skills in neoplastic and non-neoplastic diseases of the lung as well as cardiopulmonary transplantation. The candidate would be a part of a growing multidisciplinary cardio-thoracic team responsible for diagnostic sign-out, conferences, collaborative research and education.  The candidate should also have a commitment to research.

Candidates must be board certified in anatomic or anatomic/clinical pathology with additional training in cardiopulmonary pathology.  NY state licensure is required.  Salary and rank will commensurate with experience.


Salary range: $260,000 - $350,000 (The salary range listed is for full-time employment and does not


 include incentive compensation or benefits. Actual salary may not fall within the listed salary range;


 consideration will be made for experience, training, and other factors).
