NYU Langone Vascular and Endovascular Surgery Associates is a national leader in caring for people with vascular disease. We have one of the largest vascular surgery teams in the country, and our board-certified surgeons are actively involved in research into new and better ways to manage vascular conditions. We pioneered the use of endografts to treat people with abdominal aortic aneurysms, and we participate in clinical trials related to the use of minimally invasive devices to treat arterial and venous disease. We were one of the first programs to use branched and fenestrated stent grafts to treat people with abdominal aortic aneurysms. Vascular surgeons from around the world come to NYU Langone to learn these advanced techniques from our team.
Through our Vein Center, we provide minimally invasive treatment for the full spectrum of superficial and deep venous conditions, including varicose veins, deep vein thrombosis, and venous obstruction. Our surgeons conduct research into new ways to treat patients with vascular diseases. We are constantly investigating novel treatments for vascular disease, with a strong focus on the effect of vascular disease on women.
