Infectious Diseases Clinician Educator - Military Veterans

The Division of Infectious Diseases and Immunology, in the Department of Medicine, is seeking full time Clinician Educators at the Instructor, Assistant or Associate level.

The candidates will provide inpatient and outpatient clinical services in the diagnosis and treatment of infectious diseases at NYU Langone Medical Center, and Bellevue Hospital Center. Teaching responsibilities include precepting and mentorship of fellows, residents and medical students.

We are looking for dynamic faculty candidates with excellent clinical and interpersonal skills for the following positions:



  1. Clinician with responsibility for providing HIV ambulatory care at NYU Langone Medical Center (60% effort) and clinical service at Bellevue Hospital Center (40% effort).
  2. Associate Hospital Epidemiologist at Bellevue Hospital Center (50% effort) reporting to the Hospital Epidemiologist with additional responsibilities for supporting the Bellevue Special Pathogens Unit (25% effort) and clinical service at Bellevue Hospital Center (25% effort).  The special pathogen role includes review of protocols, providing clinical support when evaluating patients and support of training efforts.

Required qualifications include Board Certification or Eligibility in Infectious Diseases.

Preferred candidates would have significant clinical and academic experience in HIV medicine, healthcare epidemiology/infection prevention and control and leadership.
