The Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at NYU Langone Health is seeking a Director of Research with a proven track record to lead its research efforts across multiple campuses. This position requires a visionary leader to champion innovative research that supports the field of rehabilitation medicine. The successful candidate will also have a proven track record of mentoring junior faculty and residents.
The Director of Research will be a MD, PhD, or MD-PhD with a track record of extramural funding. The candidate will have research interests relevant to rehabilitation medicine and have demonstrated leadership skills. Prior experience in teaching and mentoring of medical students, residents, post-docs, and junior faculty with the ability to lead others, preferred.
Salary range $200,000-$280,000. The salary range listed is for full time employment and does not include benefits. Consideration will be made for experience, training, and other factors.
