Position: Postdoctoral Research Associate
Description: The Office of Population Research at Princeton University is seeking a postdoctoral associate to work on a variety of projects related to women's health across the life course in both the US as well as around the world. Projects include examining the state of women's health in the US and different countries around the world, and comparatively examining various individual, interactional and institutional dynamics shaping women's health outcomes in different countries around the world. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, has strong quantitative skills, is intellectually curious and has a publication record (ideally at least 2 first or sole authored publications). There will also be freedom to pursue independent research. The individual who fills this position will be supervised by Dr. Sanyu Mojola. The start date is around July 1, 2024. Appointments are for one year with the possibility of renewal pending satisfactory performance and continued funding Responsibilities Conducting research on women's health and other related projects Writing and publication of peer-reviewed manuscripts. Writing grant applications Presentation of research at local, national and international conferences and meetings. Additional Information: Applicants must also hold a PhD in demography, sociology, epidemiology, or a related field. They must also be able to regularly work in person at OPR.
